Who is this course for?

"If you’ve been curious about eating plant-based and interested in the vegan lifestyle overall, this should be helpful for you," says Tia. "Even if it’s one meal a day that gets you eating more plants or fruits and veggies, that’s the goal. If I could inspire someone to surf more, get more active, or do more yoga, that’s the goal. What will I learn in this course?

In this course, professional surfer and plant-based athlete Tia Blanco shares her philosophy on fitness and nutrition as well as her favorite surf-specific beach workouts, core exercises, yoga moves, yoga flows, and plant-based recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Blanco also shares insights and inspiration from her experience as an entrepreneur.

In this course, Tia shares six yoga lessons, including nine variations of her favorite surf-specific yoga moves and two yoga flows. She shares six video lessons for surf-focused beach and core workouts as well as a static stretch routine. She also shares seven of her favorite plant-based recipes.

There are 14 downloadable .pdfs as well, so you can take Tia's recipes, workouts, stretches, and yoga tips with you anywhere.

What do I need for this course?

You will need an internet connection to access the course. For the exercises and yoga, a yoga mat would be helpful, and one routine also includes a jump rope. For the food preparation component, you'll need the ingredients listed in each recipe as well as access to an oven, stove, and food processor or blender. You'll also need patience and commitment to make progress in improving your fitness and flexibility. Last, you'll want an appetite and a friend to eat all this delicious plant-based food you're about to make!

What doesn't the course cover?

You will not learn how to become a yoga instructor. That's something different entirely. Tia's curriculum includes an entry point to surf-specific yoga and requires follow-through with trained yogis in order to make strides.

Tia Blanco is a professional surfer and vegan athlete currently competing on the Women's World Qualifying Series. Born in Puerto Rico, Blanco spent her early teen years in Hawaii and now resides in Southern California. Tia is an ISA World Champion and a recognized force in the future of women’s surfing. World Title battles are in Tia's future plans, so, like most intentions she sets, chances are good she'll realize them.
